Three-Tier Jewellery Box - Tasmanian Oak and Jarrah

This jewellery box is hand-crafted from Tasmanian Oak and has a veneered lid of book-matched Red River Gum with a Jarrah border. The inside liner and trays are Jarrah and the hinges are solid brass with incorporated stays which hold the lid open at a little over 90 degrees. The partitions in the base of the box underneath both trays are removable so that space can be configured to fit larger items if desired. The partitions inside the lower tray are movable by sliding them to the desired position, or they can be removed completely. The top tray has a ring holder section which is lined with black velvet and can hold seven rings.

The box is finished with a hardwax oil which brings out the natural colours and gives it a silky smooth feel.
